Dr Abdul A. Kazi, is a board-certified ophthalmologist, educator, and humanitarian based in Alabama, USA. Originally from Hyderabad, Pakistan, he earned his medical degree from the prestigious Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Türkiye and completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship training at LSU Health Sciences Center and Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Kazi is the Director of Kazi Ophthalmology, where he specializes in comprehensive eye care and advanced ophthalmic surgery. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine and Clinical Faculty at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he is passionate about education, humanitarian service, and community development. He has served as a Visiting Professor under Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission, regularly leads international medical mission programs providing surgical care and physician training, and serves as Chairman of the Iqra Math & Science Academy. Fluent in English, Urdu, Sindhi, and conversational Arabic and Turkish, Dr. Kazi remains actively involved in initiatives that advance healthcare, education, and humanitarian outreach both locally and internationally.
